Environmental hazards can occur in a multitude of places including confined spaces, manufacturing, smelting, petrochemical, mining, emergency response, utilities, transport and storage facilities.
Designed to protect people and property, Wormald offer a range of gas monitoring instruments, providing a portable means of atmospheric monitoring wherever there is the potential for oxygen depletion or enrichment, toxic gas in excess of accepted exposure standards or combustible vapours.
Wormald’s portfolio includes a portable multi-gas monitor featuring a plug-in PID sensor to measure volatile levels as low as one part per million. Integrating Intelli-shutter technology, this monitor allows users to go from free-air sampling to sample draw modes with the push of a button and when combined with a probe attachment enables users to pre-sample a confined space up to 100ft away using its optional built-in pump. Also single charge of its lithium-ion batteries can deliver up to 150 hours of runtime.
Wormald also offer a compact multi-gas monitor that is suitable for detecting combustibles, hydrogen-sulphide and carbon monoxide. Important features of this device include externally accessed rechargeable lithium-ion battery packs providing up to 14 hours of continuous operation, rugged water and dust-resistant case plus an advanced oxygen sensor with extended life.
Furthermore, the compact multi-gas monitor includes storage capacity for 64,000 data logging points, which can be downloaded to any PC compatible with Windows 98, NT, 2000 or XP.
