PARASYN Controls, a Brisbane-based engineering group, has achieved Wonderware’s highest degree of accreditation in the Asia-Pacific region. The systems integrator recently completed a major water treatment upgrade in Cairns, northern Queensland, using Wonderware’s Industrial Application Server and ArchestrA technology. The contract was won against international competition.
“Parasyn Controls is leading the way in Australia and New Zealand’s utilities sector,” said Jose Lobato, general manager, Metquip Systems.
“By completing Wonderware’s certification program, Parasyn Controls is now set to tackle projects on the global stage, using its ‘home-grown’ engineering expertise.”
Based on the successes Parasyn Controls is achieving in partnership with Wonderware, Lobato predicts that the increased market acceptance of IAS and ArchestrA will result in more SI partners following in Parasyn’s footsteps.
