Established fabricator Wisby & Leonard has merged with Proline Technology to create a new entity capable of providing high-tech sheet metal plating and product fabrication.
The merger of the two long-standing high-tech fabrication companies in Sydney will provide Australia and global market SMEs with high-tech just-in-time OEM and repetitive sheet metal machining and parts engineering solutions.
The merger will allow Sevaan Group to provide real time B2B transparency in every job, plus an inventory holding/management service to alleviate clogged warehouses for customers. The Sevaan Group will successfully take on new, challenging work and closely serve a long list of industry sectors in Australia.
Sevaan Group will be led by manufacturing industry specialist Mr Tony Panrucker as CEO, the experienced and ambitious founder of Proline Technologies, Mr Jim Tzakos as MD and Artemis Tzakos as CFO.
According to Mr Panrucker, the technological set up within Sevaan Group is highly complementary with the consolidation of technologies from both sites enabling the business to meet needs across all industries.
Sevaan Group is targeting industries including electronics, machinery manufacturing, vehicle building, medical and scientific, architectural, mining and agriculture as well as electrical.
In addition to helping their clients by stocking inventory items so they aren’t burdened with planning and managing their parts inventory, Sevaan Group’s expanded machinery base now allows them to take just about any type of job from one-off prototyping and sampling through multi-process engineering to repetitive and accurate ISO 9001:2008 high-quality output.
In the medium term, Sevaan Group has consolidated all engineering, jobbing and machine processing at one site and turned the other site into a dedicated painting and powder coating plant.
Sophisticated equipment now owned by Sevaan Group include several world-class Mori Seiki machining centres, Bystronic laser cutting machines, Trumpf laser cutters, and a CMM precision measuring centre designed to verify parts measurement right down to one micron.
Established in 1980, Wisby & Leonard has been supplying products, equipment and services nationally to industry sectors such as food, chemical, locomotive, power generation and transmission, mining, research, agriculture, nuclear, medical, defence and general materials handling.
The Sydney-based Proline Technologies has served as a precision sheet metal manufacturing company specialising in design, fabrication and finishing of high quality sheet metal components.
