Supplier News

Australian company Windsor Business Solutions (WBS) has entered into a new partnership with multinational software group SAP to deliver leading industry efficiency services to Australian businesses.

The successful Brisbane-based business will deliver SAP training through its newly formed WBS Education Division.

Headquartered in Walldorf, Germany, SAP (Systems Applications Products) operates in more than 130 countries, and is the world leader in enterprise application software and software-related services, helping companies of all sizes and industries run better.

SAP applications and services enable more than 250,000 customers worldwide to operate profitably, adapt continuously, and grow sustainably.

Founded by industry specialist Mick Windsor, the Brisbane-based WBS was established in 2003, and has since grown its operations nationwide with offices in Mackay, Darwin and Perth. WBS is an enterprise asset management consultancy specialising in SAP.

The WBS Group is comprised of WBS Consulting, providing specialist asset management expertise; WBS Hire, supplying organisations with contingent professional resources; and WBS Strategy, supporting organisations with future IT and asset strategy planning services, in addition to its new WBS Education division.

WBS Education offers both certified SAP training courses, and tailored user-based training on-site, utilising their clients’ SAP training environment. According to CEO Mick Windsor, WBS Education trainers are SAP-certified with strong implementation and industry experience.

WBS will commence the delivery of SAP training courses in the Brisbane CBD in mid-October 2014, with the first course being a two-day SAP Overview. A major objective of the partnership is to make SAP training accessible and affordable for Queensland and WBS’ regional clients, and eventually extending that training nationally across other modules.

Training courses in Plant Maintenance and Project Systems are scheduled for November and December 2014.
