Wiley & Co have been awarded the contract for a major upgrade of George Weston Foods Ltd Castlemaine complex.
Under the contract, Wiley will undertake the design and construction of a major expansion of the Don KRC’s plant, situated in Castlemaine, North West of Melbourne, Victoria.
It will double the size of the existing plant along with a significant refurbishment of the existing facility.
Rodney Wiley, Managing Director of Wiley said the hard work by the combined Wiley and George Weston Foods Ltd team holds well for the successful delivery of this project.

“This contract has many unique and challenging goals and demonstrates the faith that our client has in this great team.” This contract also means expansion for Wiley with additional employment opportunities for local construction trades.
The Castlemaine Project is an upgrade of the existing ham, bacon and smallgoods processing operation that produces a range of premium quality ham, bacon and smallgoods to supermarkets and retailers throughout Australia.
