THE Wolf Zone '0' Headtorch HT-200 is IECEx Equipment Group 1 specified, which means that this new product can be used safely in Zone '0' Hazardous Areas without any risk to plant or personnel.
Available from Whyte-Hall Australia , the torch is recognised as an indispensable item of emergency rescue equipment – the Tokyo Fire department provided the Headtorch to earthquake disaster and Civil Defence teams.
In Australia the product has been extremely well received with many mining, petrochemical and utilities sites taking the new product onboard.
Sydney Water Corporation, Contract Resources, Bundaberg Distillers, BP Refinery QLD, BP Refinery Kwinana WA, ESSO Longford Gas plant VIC, Conoco Phillips LNG Gas Plant NT and BHP Billiton Olympic Dam SA are some of the major organisations currently using the Zone '0' Headtorch.
Other applications include the gas, marine, aircraft and petrochemical industries for inspections and technical work tasks.
Powered by three AA sized alkaline cells, the Wolf HT- 200 offers a light duration of 50 hours using all seven ultra bright LEDs, providing a wide-angle beam of light that is rated at 114 lux at a distance of 1m.
The light’s safety, reliability and minimal maintenance is due to the 'everlasting' LED cluster light-source, operated by a rubber push button to select variable light levels from three, five or seven LEDs.
