Whyte-Hall Australia supplies the new Wolflite LED handlamps launched by Wolf Safety recently.
The Wolflite LED handlamps also come with a retrofit unit for customers to easily upgrade their existing Wolflite rechargeable ATEX/IECEx handlamps and benefit from the latest LED technology.
The Wolflite H-251A LED handlamps incorporate a ‘fitted for life’ light source eliminating the need to change the bulb and reducing downtime as well as maintenance. The new handlamp also offers significant improvements in the quality of light and level of light output.
Wolflite LED handlamps are powered by a sealed lead acid rechargeable battery system offering a duration of 7-24 hours per charge and providing approximately 12,000 hours of light output from just one battery, a notable increase of 8,500 hours over the existing line.
Upgrading to the new Wolflite LED handlamps is easy and involves a simple removal of the centre contact and bulb from the lamp and replacing them with the new LED module H-79P.
Wolflite LED handlamps are ATEX approved for Zone 1, llC T4 IP66 for use in areas where potentially explosive substances such as gas, vapour, mist or dust may be present.
The Wolflite H-251ALED finds practical applications in a host of industrial segments such as fire, utilities, offshore oil and gas, marine as well as water treatment.
