Whyte-Hall Australia ’s Defender Uplight is a new alternative to conventional tripod-mounted fluorescent lighting and eliminates all of the problems associated with traditional tripod-mounted fluorescent lights.

A result of 18 months of research and development, the Defender Uplight are safer, brighter fluorescent lights suitable for numerous applications including construction, automotive, event and emergency.

The fluorescent light has a stable, self-righting polypropylene base and is suitable for mounting on uneven ground.

With anti-shock protection safeguarding the light tube, the Uplight can take a knock without incurring damage.

It overcomes all of the storage, distribution, handling, stability and performance problems normally associated with conventional lighting in construction applications.

Whyte-Hall’s Uplight fluorescent lights are suitable for indoor and outdoor use, are weather resistant and require minimal maintenance. A detachable light diffuser and base supports stockpiling and are boxed separately to aid transportation.

Dual voltage operation and multiple unit linking capability mean the lights have high electrical flexibility.

The robust design of Uplight is ideal to withstand the rough treatment of a hire fleet and the rigours of site use and can replace halogen lights and festoons on construction sites.
