PERMCO distributor Whitelaw Hydraulics is now assembling the Permco range of hydraulic pumps, motors and flow dividers at its new Braeside, Victoria, facility.
The US manufactured Permco range has a reputation for reliability and long service life under arduous service conditions often where system pressures up to 4000psi are required.
Permco's bearing design incorporates the use of controlled stress roller bearings for all four pump support positions which accommodates extreme hub bending stresses caused by system pressure.
The resulting benefits are up to 30 percent longer life over current hydraulic pump designs and reduced maintenance problems. The advanced design distributes internal bearing loads more evenly.
With minimum shaft spalling and housing wear, substantially fewer contaminants are introduced into the hydraulic system enabling other components in the system to operate more efficiently.
Rob Whitelaw, managing director of Whitelaw Hydraulics said his Permco hydraulic systems embrace typically demanding applications for refuse compaction, construction machinery, transport equipment, cranes and hoists, the timber, mining and marine industries.
“We offer a complete hydraulic package with the Permco range of gear pumps and motors including ‘one-off’ replacements or standard repeat models.
"Permco's line of mobile pumps and motors include the patented technology which delivers the increased service life of up to 30 percent."
