GERMAN tool manufacturer Stahlwille, represented by White International , has developed the Sensotork digital torque wrench.
The tool is simple to use and is assisted by a clear menu-based operator guidance system. There is no need for a trial and error training period.
Readings can be either displayed, stored or transmitted to a PC via a USB interface. The tool offers freely selectable names for each series of tests. Its ‘Quickselect’ function facilitates rapid recall of predefined sets of operating parameters, and settings can be password protected.
The Sensotork displays torque and tightening angle simultaneously. The tightening angle can be read off without a reference arm across a particularly wide angle range.
All readings are independent of the point of application of force, so accuracy need never be in doubt. In addition, the advance warning points for visual, tactile and acoustic signals are completely adjustable.
Where the insert tool requires an extension adjustment, simply enter the new value. No need for recalculation using complicated formulae.
The wrench meets the requirements of German Calibration Service DKD-R 3-7, Class 2 and DIN EN ISO 6789.
Units are packed in an impact resistant carry case and are supplied with a certificate from the Stahlwille DKD calibration laboratory. Also included as standard is a pawl-action ratchet with a safety lock.
The Sensotork is also available as a torque wrench without the angle-controlled measurement function.
