Handheld plasma metal cutting accessories

HYPERTHERM, represented in Australia by Westgate Hi-Tech Machinery , has added three new items to its already broad line of accessories for Powermax handheld plasma metal cutting systems.

A basic circle cutting guide plus a new operator face shield and system dust covers are now available to Hypertherm business partners and end users.

The new accessories allow metal fabricators using any of six Powermax models to enhance productivity while improving convenience and safety.

Hypertherm's new basic circle cutting guide allows Powermax hand torches to be used for performing high-quality straight cuts, circle cuts as large as 56 cm in diametre and as small as 10 cm in diametre and bevel cuts.

The guide package includes an adjustable point pivot, stabilising wheels and a torch-head bushing to cut consistently accurate circles on any work piece.

The new multi-purpose operator face shield delivers maximum face and eye protection during any Powermax plasma cutting application. It comes with an adjustable head strap, a clear face shield plus an AWS #8 shade lens that can be lowered during cutting.

Powermax dust covers are designed to help protect the power supply when the system is not in use. Constructed of durable denim fabric with a polyurethane coating, the custom covers are available in four sizes for any Powermax system.
