The new CBA 1G-275 broadband, 275 watt, 56 dB gain amplifier offers an additional 25 watts of output compared to its predecessor model. The new high power amplifier is also smaller in size with a 6U 19-inch case compared to the earlier 10U high CBA 1G-250.
Teseq RF amplifiers use high reliability gallium arsenide semiconductor technology to provide low distortion linear performance across the frequency range with harmonics typically below 20 dBc. This is particularly important as antennas generally have lower gains at low frequency, thus requiring increased power.
The Teseq CBA 1G-275 amplifier is specifically designed for operation under mismatch conditions even when faced with open circuit or short circuit conditions. The gallium arsenide technology employed in the Teseq amplifier overcomes the relatively low compression characteristics and low efficiency associated with silicon amplifier components.
