Westek Electronics introduces FN 9233 IEC inlet filters



FN 9233 IEC filters
The new Schaffner FN 9233 IEC filters from Westek Electronics provide a rapid solution for attaining effective EMC compliance utilising a small form factor component.

The filters are suitable for 250 volts single-phase operation and for line current ratings ranging from 1 amp to 15 amps. There are two versions available: one without an earth line choke and the model FN 9233E including earth line choke.

Operating frequencies range from DC to 400 Hz, and withstand voltages can be as high as 2500 V AC (phase to earth) and 1000 V AC phase to neutral). Designs comply with UL 1283, CSA 22.2-8-1986 and EN 60939.

Attenuation figures according to CISPR 17 are high (up to 70 dB), covering the RFI range from 10 kHz to 30 MHz and are specified for symmetrical and asymmetrical topologies.
