Teseq’s comprehensive range of CDN (Coupling/Decoupling Network) devices, used to permit conducted immunity testing in accordance with IEC/EN 61000-4-6, is available from Westek Electronics . In addition to the suitability for immunity testing, the CDNs can also be used for emission testing in accordance with CISPR 15 and CISPR 22 requirements.
These CDN systems are available for virtually all common and less commonly used cable types including unscreened AC and DC power supply lines; low-current carrying unscreened and unbalanced lines; unscreened CAN buses; screened cables; coaxial cables; USBs; screened, balanced lines as used in IT and telecommunications, as well as for unscreened balanced lines.
For most cable types a large number of CDN options are available. For example the CDN M116, covering the frequency range from 150 kHz to 230 MHz is suitable for unscreened AC/DC immunity applications utilising a single power line rated to 1 amp. There are however another thirteen CDN options, four of which are also suited to emission testing in accordance with CISPR15/22.
In terms of line topologies, the Teseq range of CDN devices for power supply lines available from Westek Electronics includes L + N; L+ N or L + N + E; single phase; three-phase three-wire and four-wire as well as five-wire (3L + N + E) options to customers to chose from. For buses CDN devices are offered up to 25 lines (i.e.: 25 pin D-sub connecting cables).
