Teseq CDN 3043 series instruments, available from Westek Electronics are 3 phase coupling decoupling networks designed for use as an extension to the NSG 3040 multifunction generator series in EMC testing applications.  

The various CDNs feature dedicated DUT terminals (an isolated terminal safety key is included), allowing direct DUT connections without requiring specific adapter plugs. Shielded high voltage safety plugs are available to interconnect the high voltage pulse output to the DUT.  

The CDN 3043 series of Teseq coupling decoupling networks is available in six different models from single function 16 A up to combined version 32 A continuous. Options include EFT and burst, combined wave surge (CWS), and combined EFT and CWS.  

The CDN 3043 series comes with several safety provisions but is also built for large overload capabilities.  

Key features of the Teseq CDN 3043 series coupling decoupling networks:  

  • DUT power ON/OFF control can be controlled manually from the NSG 3040 front panel, and automatically via WIN 3000 software
  • DUT power will switch off automatically in case of overload via thermal sensors controlling a cooling fan
  • Large overload capabilities allow up to 1.5 nominal current loading for 10 to 20 minutes, as well as high inrush currents
  • Rear-mounted phase rotation detector clearly indicates correct phase sequence
