Schaffner NSG 4070 combined signal generator and immunity test system

The new Schaffner NSG 4070 combined signal generator and immunity test system available from Westek Electronics is a flexible EMC testing facility for bulk current injection (BCI) and IEC 61000-4-3/6 evaluations.

A wide range of ancillary apparatus including coupling/decoupling networks, current injection probes, power amplifiers and antennas permit the design of application-specific test set-ups.

The Schaffner NSG 4070 comprises of an integrated signal generator providing signals between 9 kHz and 1 GHz, 4-channel power meter, integrated power amplifier (1 GHz , 75 Watts max nominal output power), internal menu-based control software and TFT colour display.

The control menu permits user-friendly selection of operational criteria including test level, specification of coupling device, sweep settings, modulation and EUT monitoring.

Auxiliary power amplifiers cover the frequency range from 10 kHz to 1 GHz and output powers to 700 watts.
