Protection relay and circuit breaker testing instruments

Westek Electronics  provide sales and distribution services for a range of protection relay and circuit breaker testing instruments and network monitoring equipment manufactured by KoCoS Messtechnik AG.

The protection relay testing equipment (ARTES series) is suitable for the testing of all manner of protection relays including distance, impedance, phase, earth/phase fault, synchronicity devices. Analysis and testing control software provide an organised, user-friendly approach to comprehensive testing and reporting regimes. The ARTES series of protection relay testers is suitable for electronic and electro-dynamic/mechanical protection relays operating at generator, switchyard, transmission and distribution levels.

The circuit breaker testing equipment (ACTAS series) is suitable for testing single and multi contact uni- and multi-pole HV, MV and LV breakers. Extensive monitoring of operations includes coil current, contact travel, static and dynamic contact resistance and auxiliary contact operation. Analysis software provides testing control, analytical results and reporting.

The network monitoring equipment (SHERLOG series) is designed for comprehensive monitoring including frequency stability, phase, harmonics, flicker, waveform faults, under voltage, over voltage, swells, sags and switching event recording. SHERLOG Monitors may be combined in overall generator, transmission, and distribution networks utilising GPS synchronising. Software packages provide analysis, testing control and reporting formats.
