CALIFORNIA Instruments, represented by Westek Electronics , has released the LX series of ac power supplies with three-phase ac output. They incorporate PWM switching technology, a high power to weight ratio, and high efficiency performance.

The power systems are designed for applications including industrial, avionics, and defence. Output power ranges of 3kVA to 6kVA, three-phase (line-to-neutral), and up to three LX power supplies can be paralleled to provide a maximum output of 18kVA. The LX series is available in 0V-150V, 0V-300V, and an optional 0V-400V. Frequency for all power supplies is variable from 45Hz to over 1000Hz. An optional HF version is available with a maximum frequency of 5000Hz.

LX series is operated via the front panel or remotely via RS 232 or IEEE 488 ports. All LX systems are provided with a Windows-based application package.
