California Instruments EC1000S 1 kVA benchtop AC and DC power supply

The new California Instruments EC1000S 1 kVA benchtop AC and DC power supply is a comprehensive test system including measurement and harmonic analysis of output current.

The California Instruments EC1000S 1 kVA benchtop AC and DC power supply allows programming of outputs including instantaneous interruptions, voltage sweep and voltage variation patterns.

Output modes include AC, DC, AC + DC, and synch outputs.

Maximum output voltage is 270 V AC and frequency can be set between 1.0 and 550.0 Hz with phase variable between 0 and 359.9°.

Available output voltage waveforms include sine wave, square wave, and arbitrary wave form (up to 16 types can be saved). The load power factor can vary between 0 and 1.0, and output current crest factors can vary up to 50:1.

Harmonic current can be analysed to the 40th order. Software tools incorporating logging functions, creations of reports and data analysis as well as arbitrary waveform creation are available.
