New high voltage switching system from Westek Electronics



New Vitrek 948i high voltage switching system

The new Vitrek 948i high voltage switching system comprises of a base chassis including GPIB and RS232 (optional) interface and the facility to house up to six switching cards, each housing either 8 SPST relay contacts (high voltage testing) or 4 SPST relay contacts for high current testing.

The high voltage contacts can switch voltages to 7kV DC and 5kV AC at 3 Amps DC or AC. The high current contacts can switch currents to 30Amps AC or DC at voltages to 277 volts AC or 30 volts DC.

Each testing point, whether for voltage or current, utilises two contacts, one in the high and on in the low potential line. A virtual unlimited number of Vitrek 948i systems can be combined to form an effectively unlimited scanning facility.
