High Thermal Conductivity Mounting Pads from Westek Electronics

The new Micro-Faze 3 A-4 thermally conductive mounting pads available from Westek Electronics are designed to exhibit extremely low values of thermal resistance.  

Micro-Faze thermal conductive mounting pads comprise of an aluminium substrate coated on both sides with non-silicone grease that is dry to the touch but exhibits excellent adhering properties due to its wetting action achieved without phase change.  

The thixotropic nature of the grease prevents run-out.  

Even under relatively low pressure in an ambient temperature, thermal resistance is very low.  

For example, at a low pressure of 11 psi (75 kPa), thermal resistance is 0.51ºC cm²/W at an ambient temperature of 36ºC.
