WESTEK Electronics has released the Array Electronics 3600 series of three benchtop dc power supply models with flexible keypad and rotary controls as well as computer interface via RS232 or RS485.

Windows-based operational software on a CD is supplied as standard and includes ActiveX for VC++, VB, Delphi and LabView drivers.

The Array Electronics power supplies are therefore suited to ATE applications and to repair, calibration and design tasks.

Operational safety is assured via password access and operating parameters can be set via a keypad, rotary control with readout of settings on the power supply’s LCD, or remotely via computer.

Main functions include constant voltage, constant current, over/under voltage, over-current and maximum power operation. The power supplies have internal memory permitting the setting up of ten pre-defined operating parameters.

The Array Electronics power supplies are available in 0-18, 0-36, and 0-65 volt maximum output versions with respectively 0-6, 0-3, and 0-1.5 amp current outputs, settable as constant current.

Ripple is less than 2mV rms, and response times for 90/50% steps of 30 millisecs and conversely, 10 millisecs.

The Array Electronics 3600 series measures 250mm wide x 212mm depth x 88mm height and weighs 6kg and is suitable for rack-mounting or benchtop use. It is powered from 110 or 220V ac.
