Dc loads suitable for high currents


THE new Prodigit 3350 series, high current, dc loads cover a load range of 1200 watts to 1800 watts, maximum dc voltages of 60 volts and a current range of 120 amps to 360 amps.

Applications include SMPS transient response testing, and battery testing.

Available from Westek Electronics , the Prodigit 3350 series loads are readily incorporated into ATE systems.

The Prodigit loads can operate in constant current, constant resistance, constant voltage, and constant power mode as well as in dynamic mode with programmable step time and slew rate under constant current or constant power modes.

By means of an external signal, for example from an arbitrary function generator, the loading profile can be even more flexibly set. Up to 150 load programs can be stored in the Prodigit 3350 series on-board memory.
