DIN-rail mountable power and disturbance monitoring relay
provide the new PQube DIN-rail mountable power and disturbance monitoring relay. It captures voltage disturbances and time-stamped waveforms, storing captured information on a plug-in 4 GB SD card that provides exportable CSV Excel-compatible and GIF picture files.
Information can be exported through Ethernet with e-mail, DHCP, FTP, and SNTP options. Disturbance monitoring covers voltages ranging from 100 V to 600 V at frequencies of 50, 60, and 400 Hz for single phase, split-phase and three-phase delta- and star-connected circuits.
Parameters analysed include dips, swells, sags, interruptions, waveform faults, frequency variations, and impulse detection. The PQube relay can optionally monitor current and power utilising a maximum 20 Amp direct input or 1- and 5-Amp CT input.
Other options include kW, kVAR, power factor and energy usage, harmonics and flicker. Additionally temperature and humidity probes may be connected for climate conditioning monitoring applications and the relay can be utilised in control schemes by virtue of DNP3 and Modbus protocol options. The PQube complies with performance criteria as specified by IEC 61000-4-30, safety requirements according to TUV, ISA, CSA and S-mark (Japan) and emission standards EN 55022 and CISPR 22.
