WESTEK Electronics has released the Motech model FG708S and F function generators, providing a large number of waveforms including triangular, square, sine wave, pulse and dc signals in the frequency range of 0MHz to 1MHz.
In the pulse output mode, the frequency is variable from 1mHz to 8MHz. The function generators are provided with a linear and logarithmic sweep function. The Motech FG708 F is also provided with a ramp-up/down ramp variable from 100mHz to 20kHz.
Output signals can be varied in the range of 1mV to 20V pp (open circuit) and an output control function provides from 0dB to -60dB attenuation. The output signal exhibits low noise and distortion even at low output levels. A synch output (TTL) is standard over the output frequency selected. Modulation modes (AM, FM, PSK) are provided for triangular, sine and square waves.
