Watson-Marlow Bredel supplies a wide range of pumps for domestic, commercial and industrial applications.
Their new mini hose pumps feature a direct-coupled design and are 30% smaller than conventional pumps in the same class.
The direct-coupled SPX pumps from Watson-Marlow and Bredel are designed for flow rates up to 525 litres/hour and discharge pressures up to 7.5 bar.
The direct-coupled pumps offer high metering pump accuracy with accuracy rates of +/- 1% after 100 hours of operation.
Key design features include enhanced choice of flanges, threaded inserts and sanitary connectors. Stainless steel supports are provided for the pump and there is no baseplate.
A unique leak zone protects the pump’s drive while the rotor is fully supported on its own bearings.
All pumps in the SPX range come with a 2-year warranty.
The new additions to Watson-Marlow Bredel’s direct-coupled SPX pumps include the new SPX10 and SPX15 models.
A rugged hub with a two-bearing rotor is at the core of every SPX pump. The pump bearings absorb the forces occurring in the pump centrally, eliminating the load on the gearbox bearings as well as the need for coupling, alignment or heavy-duty baseplate.
All fasteners are made from stainless steel resulting in less installation time, less maintenance and lower costs.
