Watson-Marlow Bredel  offers the 400 Series peristaltic pumps specially designed for OEM applications.

400 Series OEM pumps from Watson-Marlow Bredel are available as single and multi-channel units for low and medium flow applications.

The 400 Series peristaltic pumps are suitable for high accuracy dosing and metering requirements in clinical, diagnostic, laboratory and medical applications.

Mikura Ltd, a West Sussex-based designer and manufacturer of laboratory equipment has used the 400 Series peristaltic pumps for a selection of microplate instrumentation products made for immunoassay testing where precise fluid transfer of small amounts of fluid is crucial. T

he 400 Series peristaltic pumps are preferred by OEM designers for advantages such as easy cleaning and maintenance.

The removable tubing in these pumps eliminates risk of contamination of the fluid or pump, making them perfectly suited for analytical, hygienic and sterile applications.

The modular design of the 400 Series peristaltic pumps allows off-the-shelf systems to be tailored to meet specific customer requirements, or create totally bespoke solutions.

Mikura opted for a selection of 400 Series pumpheads including two 8-channel and three 2-channel units that were manufactured specifically for cleaning test tubes.

The pumps in the 400 Series also offer the functionality of accepting variable tube bore sizes, which further increase the flow range as well as provide adjustable occlusion settings for increased pressure capabilities and the use of special Y tube elements that combine flows from two tubes to create a single, low pulsation flow.

All the peristaltic pumps in the 400 Series range are compact and lightweight in design, allowing them to be easily accommodated into most equipment housings.

User choice is further enhanced with a range of 12V or 24V DC motors or synchronous AC motors.
