Compact circulation heater
WATLOW has released the CAST-X 2000 circulation heater for applications where fluid cleanliness, temperature accuracy and high pressure are needed. They are safe for volatile, viscous or mildly corrosive liquids, are suitable for heating gases and can be used in either high or low-pressure applications.

It consists of a helically coiled tube cast into an aluminum body with tubular heating elements. The aluminum body is a seamless heavy wall that serves as the heat transfer media between the tubular element and the coiled tube through which the fluid being heated passes. This non-weld construction minimises material usage and offers a lower per package cost than traditional circulation heaters.
The heater is available with an integral thermostat that is also cast into the aluminum, which allows the heater to run dry without causing damage to the heating element.
The CAST-X 2000 is explosion-resistant and prevents fluid contamination because the heated fluid does not come in contact with the heating element.
