WATERSAVE Australia has released waterless urinal troughs that never need flushing. They use an odour trap instead of a water flushing system, reducing the cost of installing and maintaining the urinals and removing the cost of the water which would otherwise be needed for flushing.
They have larger odour traps than previously released bowl urinals, accommodating the additional usage. The traps contain an odour-blocking liquid which can be easily replaced when required.
Uridan water-free urinals are made of fibreglass and coated with a hard, glossy finish for easy cleaning. The troughs are available in either light or dark grey granite finish, and are supplied with easy to follow installation, cleaning and maintenance instructions. Applications include hotels, clubs, restaurants, airports, sports stadiums, office buildings, parks and camping grounds.
