Available from Wastech Engineering , EPS high density extruders are able to process large quantities of EPS into dense 300kg/m blocks at a compaction ratio of 50:1.
The blocks are solid and can be cost effectively placed into shipping containers for recycling. Around 20 tonnes can be loaded in a 40 foot container.
EPS high density extruders have a typical throughput of roughly 200kg per hour. The end product is a log measuring 380mm x 380mm and varies in length up to 2400mm.
The high density extruders are a screw type compactor and are available in a range of configurations with pre-treatment shredders or large feed hoppers.
EPS high density extruders are ideally suited for recycling electrical appliance packaging, building panels, EPS form fish boxes and other packaging applications.
