INTERNATIONAL Light, represented in Australia by Warsash Scientific , has released a NIST-traceable, research grade spectroradiometer with a USB interface.
Applications include characterisation and diagnosis of UV curing, photostability testing, accelerated weathering, LED illumination and colour analysis. The IL RPS 900 is also suitable for use with any process that requires understanding illumination. It can perform programmable time scheduled measurements, time averaging and FFT smoothing, and full colour analysis. It has test, Excel, grams/32, and SPC export options.
It measures from 200nm-1100nm at 1nm resolution. It has a 2048 element CCD with filtering to achieve high speed and sensitivity over the entire range. It provides user-controlled integration time to 25ms, 16-bit conversion accuracy and over 10-5W/cm²/nm sensitivity. The radiometer’s software has several export options, real time graphing, and peak finding with subpixel accuracy.
