M-900KOPS positioning unit
M-900KOPS positioning unit

Warsash Scientific  offer the M-900KOPS positioning unit from Physik Instrumente (PI). The M-900KOPS positioning unit carries out two-dimensional scans quickly and accurately. It has external dimensions of 170mm and a 50mm scanning range in both axes and a load capacity of up to 660N. A DC direct drive with zero backlash provides a speedy 10mm/s with 0.1 µm positioning resolution.

The stage has a plain design and is intended for integration or for accurate sample positioning in a white-light interferometer and a large microscope. Physik Instrumente can match the cover and the base plate of the unit individually to customer-specific installation requirements.

PC plug-in cards of the C-843 controller series and the Mercury stand-alone controller are available for a low-cost system combination. These are easy to network and provide a number of functions for automation applications.
