The new Cobolt Calypso is a continuous wave (CW) diode-pumped solid-state (DPSS) laser operating at 491nm and emitting up to 200mW CW output power in a perfect TEM00 beam, with <1 MHz line-width and immunity to optical feedback. Other wavelengths available on the same platform include 355nm, 532nm, 561nm, 660nm and 1064nm.
The high performance Cobolt Calypso laser is ideally suited for demanding analytical applications such as super-resolution fluorescence microscopy, Raman spectroscopy, cell sorting and particle analysis.
The Cobolt Calypso laser is manufactured using Cobolt’s proprietary HTCure technology in a compact and hermetically sealed package, which provides a very high level of tolerance to varying environmental conditions as well as exceptional reliability.
Cobolt Calypso is a single-frequency laser with high level of stability, ultra-low noise, very narrow spectral bandwidth and a perfect quality beam over a wide range of operation temperatures. It is based on proprietary PPKTP technology, which provides improved power efficiency, large wavelength flexibility and multi-line emission possibility.
