Warsash Scientific has presented the range of IR phosphor cards from Lumitek International.
Exposing Lumitek International's phosphor cards to IR will produce a diffuse localised visible glow for detection and location of IR sources.
These IR sensor screens provide a low-cost alternative to laser beam finders and beam profile instruments by providing the user with an instant visible pattern for determining beam location and approximate beam size.
In addition the high sensitivity of the IR sensor screens provides users of various components (e.g. IR emitting diodes, optical fibres, etc.) an effective tool for determining the presence or absence of IR.
The range of Lumitek International's IR phosphor cards includes laser beam alignment screens and high temperature/high resolution screens for use with high power IR sources.
Optical glass phosphor cards allow the visualisation of IR radiation from either side of the sensor screen and phosphor cards with an adhesive backing option can be cut into any desired configuration and bonded to most surfaces.
UV phosphor cards which downconvert UV to visible red are also available for the detection and location of UV sources from 250nm to 500nm. All of Lumitek International's phosphor cards are available in a range of sizes.
