Available from Walls Machinery , the Nordenmatic 1702 is in clockwise operation and equipped with a new pick&place unit for straight-line layouts (the tubes are turned 90°).
This means, that at straight lines, the product conveyor of the cartoner will receive the tubes from the short side of the tube filler and not from the front side of the filler as in earlier configuration.
With the clockwise operation of the tube filler and a standard Nordenpack 1702 cartoner, this offers a straight-line layout with an extraordinarily good accessibility to both machines with one single operator side.
A checkweigher is placed immediately after the discharge of the filler and before the cartoning machine for check weighing of the individual tubes. The special pick&place device places the tubes on the weigh cells and a second pick&place puts the tubes into the pockets of the cartooning machine.
The machine is designed with clean lines to facilitate easy line clearance, cleaning, changeover and maintenance. The NM 1702 becomes a compact and efficient option for the pharmaceutical industry.
