WALLACE & Tiernan has introduced its new range of ChemAd diaphragm metering pumps to Australia.
The ChemAd Series is designed to handle a wide range of chemical feed applications in the treatment of potable water, waste water and industrial water treatment under demanding conditions.
A selection of output capacities combines with repeatability and optimal chemical resistance in ChemAd pumps, which feature positive displacement design with overload-proof motors.
There is a wide variety of configurations ranging from manual to proportional control, enabling these pumps to suit any requirement.
The ChemAd Series A features an electronically controlled, motor driven piston-diaphragm design with prefeed and a degassing valve.
It has an IP65 enclosure and a gasket free, ceramic piston cylinder unit giving very high repeatability at low feed rates.
Maximum Series A pump capacities range from 0.2-1.4L/h at 10 bar. The new ChemAd Series B range has maximum capacities from 1.4-11.2L/h at 4-10 bar.
The ChemAd Series C & D feature vertically mounted drive motors and IP55 enclosures with much higher maximum output capacities ranging from 16-120L/h and 140-750L/h respectively at 3-10 bar.
All pumps feature manual stroke adjustment and an optional automatic control capability enabling response to variable 4-20mA or pulsed control signals.
The smooth pulsation characteristics of these pumps ensure high metering accuracy and long life of diaphragms and valves, as well as extremely quiet operation.
Standard liquid ends made of PVDF or polypropylene ensure resistance to a wide range of chemicals.
The ChemAd pump series complements the existing Wallace & Tiernan Premia 75, Encore and Chemtube pump ranges and is backed by the technical expertise of factory trained service technicians.
