Wacker Neuson have added two new models to their range of small mobile vibratory plates. Both the DPU 3050H E and DPU 3060HE-TS are equipped with electric starters. Like all mobile vibratory plates from Wacker Neuson, these two machines offer mobility on construction sites with the help of integrated wheels. The operator can get the machines up and running quickly with the help of the electric starter.
The electric starter has a long-life battery. The mobile vibratory plates also boast a range of additional labour-saving features. The LED display panel, for example, provides an overview of the machine’s operational status and includes an indicator for low oil pressure, charge controller status and other functions. The new ignition lock is dust-protected and features an integrated starter switch.
According to Oliver Kolmar, Product Manager, Soil and Asphalt compaction, Wacker Neuson, the mobile vibratory plates can handle paving, trench, and cable jobs easily as landscaping and gardening activities. The compact design of the mobile vibratory plates from Wacker Neuson makes them suitable for areas where space is limited, for instance, when backfilling structures or compacting sidewalk areas.
The mobile vibratory plates are light in weight and thus suit to compacting combined asphalt base and surface layers. The smooth plate operation is a further benefit for users working on interlocking stone pavements, as it minimises the risk of damage to the stones during compaction. Despite the smooth operation and lightweight design, DPU 3050H E and DPU 3060HE-TS are powerful plates with 30-kN of centrifugal force. They have no difficulty coping with mid-size dumping heights.
