Wacker Construction Equipment AG, soon to be known as Wacker Neuson SE, are expanding their portfolio of industry breakers to include two new lightweight devices. Weighing between six and seven kilos, the new EH 6M and EHB 7M electric breakers require low maintenance, and have a long lifespan and powerful percussion rates.
According to Stefan Pfetsch, Product Manager, Demolition Business Field, Wacker Neuson, both the breakers combine durability with good demolition performance and a range of additional functions aimed at reducing operator fatigue. From the drive engine through the magnesium crankcase to the individual housing elements, all components in these models have been designed for maximum durability, giving these two electric breakers a long lifespan.
The long lifespan and low service requirements reduce operating costs, thus making these products extremely cost efficient to run. The extra functions in the breakers enable intuitive, hassle-free operation. The quick check display in the handle allows operators to monitor the power supply and see when the next service is due at a glance. A user-friendly switch can be used to quickly and easily reduce breaker output by 40% for work where full power is not required.
The powerful low-vibration technology used with larger Wacker Neuson breakers is also deployed in these models. The smooth front handle, developed in cooperation with the Fraunhofer Institute, is a further plus as it does not dig onto the operator’s hands.
