Aligning a machine with multiple drive units, ie. three of more units with rotating shafts connected to each other, can be a risky and time-consuming task.
In many cases, one or more of the machines are affected by dynamic effects.
In order to obtain a precision alignment you need to compensate for these effects.
Fixturlaser XA, the wireless shaft alignment system, can now be upgraded with a function for measurement and precision machine alignment on machines with multiple drive units.
The Fixturlaser Machine Train XA expansion kit gives control of the whole measurement procedure.
The Fixturlaser Machine Train XA expansion kit contains a unique software using 3D Macromedia Flash animations to guide the user throughout the measurement, step-by-step. The large colour display screen helps give a good overview of the whole machine configuration.
By inserting the whole machine configuration in advance, including target values to compensate for dynamic effects, you can make a quick start of the measurement.
The unique Minimal Moves function automatically chooses the best reference machine, which is illustrated on the screen.
The reference machine can also be selected manually. After performing the alignment, the result screen can be transferred to a PC for reporting via USB.
The Fixturlaser Machine Train XA expansion kit is available from Vitech.
