VICTORIAN Machine Vision Pty Ltd has announced the availability of the high performance ‘M’ series of the NetSight II machine vision system from IDP.
This vision appliance delivers powerful processing, industrial communication, flexible software and multiple camera interfaces within a small, industrial enclosure.
The new ‘M’ systems are powered by a turbocharged 1.6GHz processor with 2MB of local cache and 512MB of high-speed program memory, making the NetSight II M systems comparable in image processing performance with desktop PCs.
NetSight II is wired with industrial interface controls for triggers, light strobes, job codes and user-definable process controls.
In addition to the standard Analogue and Camera Link interfaces, NetSight II M systems are compatible with the very latest camera technologies, such as IEEE 1394 and GigE Ethernet.
The Multi-Channel MCA product, for example, can acquire images from three digital IEEE 1394 cameras and three standard analogue cameras simultaneously. This provides users with the ability to select the technology that best fits the need, as well as significant cost savings for multi-camera applications.
The NetSight supports extensive vision tools, including adaptive pattern matching, OCR, barcode and 2D matrix reading.
Victorian Machine Vision Pty Ltd provides a wide range of turnkey machine vision solutions.
