Industry experts from world-leading manufacturer of mechanical pipe joining systems, Victaulic will present on fire protection installation at the upcoming FPANZ ‘Getting it Right’ seminars across New Zealand.
The FPANZ seminar series will begin in Auckland on 22 September to be followed by seminars in Rotorua, Wellington, Christchurch and Dunedin on consecutive days.
Flexible sprinkler drop technology is the latest development in fire protection and is gaining acceptance around the world for its ability to ease concerns commonly associated with hard pipe sprinkler drop installation and performance.
Victaulic Senior Engineer Jack Carbone will be leading the Victaulic section of the FPANZ Getting it Right seminar series, sharing his knowledge on fire protection systems, including fire protection valves and sprinklers, and flexible sprinkler systems, and how Victaulic supports installers in the use and application of flexible drop systems.
According to David Sharkey, Vice President Australia, New Zealand, and South East Asia, Victaulic’s influence in the fire protection industry continues to grow as it releases increasingly innovative products. He adds that the seminar will help installers deliver systems of the highest calibre to their clients, while providing them with the tools needed to grow their business.
Seminar attendees will learn to recognise and inspect properly installed flexible sprinkler fitting systems, understand the hydraulic performances of flexible drop systems, locate technical support information for flexible hoses, and grasp why flexible drops are important components in fire safety.
The Victaulic seminars are free but spaces are limited. Prior registration is necessary.
