Vicom, a leading independent provider of test and measurement solutions, has released that the Radcom Omni-Q system will be deployed, initially to provide signalling monitoring, analysis and troubleshooting of TelstraClear’s telephone services. Radcom has developed the Omni-Q system for advanced Quality Management of Next Gen Voice, Video and Data (Triple Play) Networks including 3G Cellular. The contract awarded by TelstraClear covers 5 locations across New Zealand, monitoring all their National and International E1 SS7 and SIGTRAN 100baseT links.
Vicom and Radcom have applied their extensive experience and expertise, gained in supporting some of the world’s large Tier 1Telcos and their advanced Next Gen Networks, to providing TelstraClear with a customised monitoring, analysis and troubleshooting system that has the flexibility to grow and change as TelstraClear’s network grows and new technologies emerge.
