Vibco recently supplied a VS-320 Silent Pneumatic Turbine Vibrator to be mounted on the side of a cement bin to keep the cement from sticking to the sides and to make getting the cement into the mixer alot easier.
The client was having trouble getting their cement into the mixer properly because it kept getting stuck to the sides of the bin. This not only mean bad batches but also an inconsistent product. One of the concrete workers often had to pound on the bin with a sledge hammer to get all of the cement out, which damaged the bin and also slowed down the production process.
Vibco's VS-320 Silent Pneumatic Turbine Vibrator was mounted on the side of the cement bin. The air hose to the vibrator connects to the pinch valve of the bin so that the vibrator operates only when the pinch valve opens. The cement discharges into the mixer evenly, increasing production and reducing lost man hours.
Furthermore, these pneumatic turbine vibrators are pre-lubricated for life, further reducing maintenance costs.
After installing the Vibco VS-320 Silent Pneumatic Turbine Vibrator the customer received the following benefits:
- increased production and fewer lost man hours
- even batch mixture
- no more bin damage or hammer rash
- reduced maintenance costs with pre-lubrication.
