How the filter process works:
(Stage 1) 5 Micron Sediment Pre-Filter: This sediment cartridge is utilised because of the five micron rating which is effective in removing dirt, rust and sand particles. Replace every 6 months.
(Stage 2) Granular Activated Carbon Filter: This granular activated carbon filter takes out 99% of the chlorine and organic chemicals. It provides enhanced reduction of taste, odour and colour. Replace every 6 months.
(Stage 3) 1 Micron Sediment Pre-Filter: With a secondary sediment pre-filter it provides effective filtration and does not release carbon dust. It improves membrane performance up to 99% TDS Rejection. Replace every 6 months.
(Stage 4) High capacity reverse osmosis membrane (0.0001micron): This is a thin film composite (TFC) high quality membrane that processes up to 230L of pure filtered water per day. Replace 2-4 years depending on water quality.
(Stage 5) Final carbon post-filter: This filter provides final polishing of processed water leaving the storage tank. Replace annually·
