Chicago Pneumatic has launched a new line of random orbit palm sanders engineered to provide mechanics with good durability and performance at a competitive price.
The new line features three random orbit palm sanders: the CP7125 (10mm 0rbit), designed for fast material removal and body filler smoothing; the CP7225 (2.5mm orbit), tailored for fine sanding and paint preparation before polishing; and the CP7255 (5mm orbit), engineered for course sanding, material removal and general duty sanding.
All three sanders are available in non-vacuum, self-vacuum and central vacuum models. They are also colour coded for easy recognition by technicians.
“Chicago Pneumatic achieved its goal of designing and launching the most advanced and complete range of palm sanders that feature industry best performance and durability,” said Jan Bath , Chicago Pneumatic UK communications manager.
“During field trials mechanics told us they had difficulty distinguishing between sanders while working because of their identical appearance. To alleviate this issue we colour coded our orbits making our sanders easy to identify,” added Bath .
Each product in Chicago Pneumatic’s random orbit palm sander line features a powerful 160 watt (0.21hp) motor combined with the industry’s lowest rating for vibration. The sanders also feature a tear-drop handle and the lightest weight in the industry for ultimate control. T
he tools provide easy-access speed control and a chemical resistant composite housing for increased durability. The tools feature 150mm (6”) pads which have a maximum free speed of 12,000 rpm.
Chicago Pneumatic offers a full line of accessories to complement its random orbit palm sanders, including dust extraction kits and bags, pad PSAs and pad hook and loops, with and without holes.
The all new range is now in stock online at Vek Tools’ website or in store at Vek Tools .
