New line of cordless tools available from Vek Tools
CP cordless line
Chicago Pneumatic has launched a new line of cordless tools, featuring a powerful cordless ½ inch impact wrench and a small cordless 3/8 inch impact wrench with a good power-to-weight ratio.
“We understand the daily abuse cordless tools receive in the shop, and we engineered the new Chicago Pneumatic cordless tool range with strength, durability and ease of use as the key ingredients in every component,” said John Stratton, global product marketing manager for Chicago Pneumatics Vehicle Service Division.
The CP cordless line includes a 12 volt 3/8 inch impact wrench, a 19.2 volt ½ inch impact wrench, a 12 volt 3/8 inch drill, an LED work light and universal charger. Each product features moulded rubber battery encasing to protect against accidental drops and shop abuse, and rubber over moulded handles to provide good ergonomic balance and support.
The products feature lithium ion battery packs with an easy connect battery system, which are guaranteed to remain cool during long periods of use. The tools also were designed with one-hand forward/reverse toggles and feather touch triggers.
Stratton says “The CP Cordless line brings technicians a complete range of cordless tools that combine performance and durability with ease of use.”
CP8748 ½ Inch 19.2V Ni-Cd Cordless Impact Wrench
CP8748L ½ Inch 18V Li-Ion Cordless Impact Wrench
The workhorse in the group is the CP8748, a ½ inch 19.2 volt or 18V Li-Ion cordless impact wrench featuring a huge motor.
The CP Electrocharge Motor in the CP8748 produces 425 ft-lbs. of maximum torque. Featuring ergonomically good balance, the tool weighs a staggeringly light 6.5 lbs. and comes with a new battery design that allows technicians better access to tight spaces, such as wheel wells. The tool comes fully equipped with easy access to replaceable carbon brushes, a top of the line trigger switch and CP DuoPac smooth clutch.
CP8738 3/8 Inch 12 Volt Cordless Impact
Weighing only 3.5 pounds, the CP8738 is a small and light 3/8 inch 12 volt cordless impact in the market. Featuring a good power-to-weight ratio, the tool has an LED guide light built in, with DuoPac smooth clutch for strong, smooth operation.
CP8335 3/8 Inch 12 Volt Cordless Drill
The CP8335 3/8 inch 12 volt cordless drill features a locking industrial Jacobs Chuck for secure bit connection, with 15 torque settings and two speeds. The CP8335 also features a built in LED guide light which can be activated before the tool turns on.
CP8005 Work Light
The CP8005 Work Light is a testament to Chicago Pneumatic’s engineering, featuring a high output LED which produces more than 10,000 lumen brightness. The CP Work Light’s head pivots 160 degrees and comes with a built-in hanging hook for hands free operation. The easy connect battery system works with all CP batteries with an extended battery operating life of 16 hours.
CP8000 Universal Charger
Essential to the new CP Cordless product line is the CP8000, a universal charger which is compatible with all CP batteries. The charger features charge indicator lights, Ni-CD battery refresher, electrode protector and a universal plug connection.
