New panoramic CCTV systems have been introduced by Vectron Systems Australia that are capable of capturing activity in the middle of a room, in doorways, and behind the bar and till area.
When linked to the POS system of a venue, these CCTV systems can compare till images to POS transactional data in real time, allowing operators to identify and track who sold what, to whom, when and at what price.
As these cameras feature 360 degree mega pixel technology, when employed they can reduce the overall camera requirement in a venue by as much as 20%.
In addition, an inbuilt PC analyses all the data within the cameras themselves, and multiple cameras can simultaneously store high resolution HDTV video with sound on one compact networked storage device, replacing the need for a DVR entirely.
Data and power (POE) are supplied by a single CAT5 cable, ensuring easy and tidy set up.
Vectron Systems' new panoramic CCTV systems also feature:
- digital, continuous zooming and panning
- a weatherproof design with no mechanical moving parts
- event-controlled recording directly in the camera; and
- an integrated alarm function, speaker and microphone.
Automated reporting functions can be set to send alerts directly to the PC or mobile of a manager, with time and date stamped images providing indisputable evidence for incidents and insurance claims.
As the systems are completely scaleable, Vectron Systems Australia can quote on installations for these new CCTV systems for both large and small venues.
