Vectron Systems Australia has installed its proven Hotel POS application at some of the most popular venues across Victoria including the Sphinx Hotel in Geelong.
The Sphinx Hotel is a multifaceted business with a TAB, an entertainment lounge, function room, drive-thru liquor store and a popular night club. When approached by Vectron with the hotel system, owner George Ramia agreed to adopt the POS solution as it addressed all their requirements across the board while the system’s visual and intuitive interface simplified operation.
Installed on 10 new flat touch screens, Vectron’s hotel system has given George much better control and visibility of his venue with real-time access to all stock movement, staff activity and cash flow data from each till in addition to instant alerts to any incidents or discrepancies when they happen. Venue activity reports can be automated to be sent via email daily, weekly or as required.
George accesses the reports on his mobile every morning, providing him complete visibility on every aspect of the operation and allowing him to plan his day accordingly.
Customer displays on all the bistro tills enable Sphinx to promote upcoming events, daily specials or combo offers to patrons. Functioning as great advertising tools, the second screens on the tills catch the attention of anyone passing by. Sphinx has also been running bottle shop offers on the bistro screens for extended exposure.
