Butterfly or ball valve electric actuator


VALVE Distributors Pty Ltd offers a range of Challenger quarter-turn electric actuators suitable for ON/OFF or MODULATING CONTROL of ball or butterfly valves.

Complementing the Challenger Butterfly valve range, these actuators include torques ranging from 80Nm to 3,000Nm.

The devices provide high performance and reliability for a wide range of industrial applications including water treatment, pulp and paper, chemical, petrochemical and power.

The body is constructed of high grade aluminium with hard anodising both internally and externally. An external polyester coating provides high corrosion resistance for the harshest environments.

The standard actuators are rated to IP67 (dust tight and submersible for limited periods). Explosion proof and IP68 models are also available.

All electric actuators have visual position indicator and a manual override as standard.

The ISO 5211 mounting allows direct coupling of the electric actuator to a valve with a similar configuration.
