VAISALA has introduced a new combined measurement probe with a small measurement head.
The HMP 42 humidity and temperature probe features a 4mm diameter measurement probe, enabling accurate measurement of humidity and temperature in small spaces.
Applications include drying of structures and building materials, either during construction or after water damage, or measurements in ducts and chambers.
The HMP 42 is used with the HMI 41 humidity and temperature indicator. The HMI41 is capable of calculating dewpoint, wet bulb temperature, absolute humidity and mixing ratio from the relative humidity and temperature measurements.
It can be supplied with an optional calibration function which enables the HMI41 to be used as a quick an easy one point calibrator for most Vaisala humidity transmitters.
The HMP41 probe is fitted with the HUMICAP humidity sensor. The sensor is immune to most chemicals and its performance is not affected by dew or particulate contamination.
